The hackers have leaked the details of more than 25 million Airtel users. At the same time, the hackers claim that they have the details of all Airtel users in India.
Internet security researcher Rajasekhar Rajahariya has revealed such a shocking information. India Today Tech has also received information from Rajasekhar Rajahari that hackers were communicating with Airtel security groups and trying to blackmail the company and extort $ 3,500 from it through bitcoins.

The hackers reportedly sold information, including phone numbers, after a failed attempt to blackmail them.
However, the website where the user information was put up for sale is no longer available. India Today Tech understands that data may not have been leaked from Airtel's systems or servers. Instead, there are indications that it could be leaked from other government sources or possibly government agencies that access some telecom data for security purposes.
