Delete this malicious app immediately- Popular Android Messaging App Go SMS Pro Exposes Millions Users Data Public

Google has removed the popular instant messaging Android app 'Go SMS Pro' from its Play Store. Google constantly removes malicious apps from the Play Store. One such malicious app, 'Go SMS Pro', has recently been removed from the China app. The app has completed over 100 million downloads so far. The 'Go SMS Pro' app reveals users' personal data, photos, videos and other files. Security researchers at TrustWave in Singapore recently revealed that the data of users using the app is at risk.

"Security researchers at TrustWave discovered the flaw in August and gave it a 90-day deadline to resolve the issue. However, Go SMS Pro did not take any security measures, which is why cybersecurity firm TrustWave has revealed that users now have to disclose this information," the TechCrunch report said. Experts say that all the information that users have sent so far can be made public through the Go SMS Pro app, which can be easily accessed with a URL link sent via an SMS. They said users could easily access phone numbers, bank transaction screen shots, arrest records and other information sent through a decode link. Experts say that you should delete this app from your phone immediately as it is more likely that your phone and bank account will be hacked.
