"Security researchers at TrustWave discovered the flaw in August and gave it a 90-day deadline to resolve the issue. However, Go SMS Pro did not take any security measures, which is why cybersecurity firm TrustWave has revealed that users now have to disclose this information," the TechCrunch report said. Experts say that all the information that users have sent so far can be made public through the Go SMS Pro app, which can be easily accessed with a URL link sent via an SMS. They said users could easily access phone numbers, bank transaction screen shots, arrest records and other information sent through a decode link.
