Fastag Not Reading at Toll Plaza After January 31

Your Fastag Will Not Work Now What?

This is very important news for people using FASTag to pay toll. If your FASTag KYC is incomplete, it will be deactivated after January 31.

The National Highways Authority of India said on Monday that the decision was taken to improve the experience of FastTag under the One Vehicle One FastTag campaign. It said FASTags that do not complete KYC by January 31 will be blacklisted or disabled.

To promote a single Fasttag, accounts of multiple Fasttag holders in the same vehicle will be added to the list, NHAI said.

KYC of Fasttag is suggested to be completed by January 31. Otherwise double burden on the pocket. Because if toll tax is paid in cash then double tax has to be paid.

To complete FastTag KYC, you can contact the organization that issued your FastTag. You can also complete KYC online.
