Last year, the Nokia 7.1 smartphone, which was brought in to support HDR 10 in the mid-range price range, had better specs. This phone comes with Zeiss dual rear cameras and Android One. It has launched this unique smartphone at a price of just Rs 19,999. However, now HMD Global has announced a huge discount from the Nokia.com website even at this price. It is currently priced at Rs. Selling for 17,999.
Nokia has introduced the 7.1 HDR10 compliant display in this price range. Nokia has now brought this feature to the mid-range segment, which was hitherto reserved only for expensive TVs and high-end flagship smartphones. Also, the company claims that this phone comes with a unique HDR chip phone that processes smooth, rich HDR content at 500 million pixels per second. While it may not be incredible to hear for a mid-range phone, Nokia has made it possible. This phone also relies on pixelwork algorithms to enhance standard definition videos to HDR.
The display also comes with a 5.84 inch Full HD + with a 19: 9 aspect ratio. There is a notch on the top of this display, but it's not as big a notch as seen on other phones. This display comes with a glass sandwich body. This Nokia phone uses 6000 series aluminum for a glossy glass finish. Like the Nokia 6 (2018), the body has a diamond cut chambers cut, which gives the phone a unique look. This phone is very easy to spot among all the smart phones that come in this price segment.
Nokia 7.1 Specs
The Nokia 7.1 comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage paired with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC. This chipset also includes the Nokia 6.1 Plus and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and this processor has proven to perform very well in the mid-range segment. It's more than an inch, and can handle everything you need for your daily use. Since the stock Android interface is present in this phone, it makes all things very compatible. This Nokia 7.1 also comes with Android One certification on all Nokia phones and guarantees regular security updates. Nokia claims that it has a 3,060mAh battery, which is sufficient for a day's work. If not, it comes with a fast charger box that can charge the phone to 50 percent in 30 minutes.
Zeiss Optics
HMD Global brings back Zeiss Optics with Nokia 7.1. Earlier, Nokia 5.1 Plus and Nokia 6.1 Plus phones did not have this Zeiss certified optics. The Nokia 7.1 Zeiss is certified with a 12MP + 5MP dual camera and an 8MP selfie camera on the front. AI based portrait mode is also provided.
