Poco Global: Xiaomi sub-brand Poco has made the biggest decision. Poco announced that it has become a global exclusive brand.
Xiaomi sub-brand Poco made the sensational decision. No longer separated from Xiaomi, Poco will no longer be a separate brand around the world. The company has officially announced this through social media channels. It has been 10 months since Poco became a fully fledged brand in our country. Chinese smartphone giant Xiaomi has introduced Poko as its sub-brand for the first time in 2018. The Poco F1 smartphone has become very popular among the youth and has brought a good name to the Poco brand. However, all the phones launched in the recent past are red rebranded phones for your smartphones.
Poco said a total of 60 lakh smartphones have been sold worldwide so far in 35 global markets. This includes the Poco F1 smartphone, which has 22 lakh phones. Poco did not disclose sales of the rest of the phones, however. The list includes Poco C3, Poco F2 Pro, Poco M2, Poco M2 Pro, Poco X2, Poco X3, Poco X3 NFC phones.
Poco did not say if there would be any changes in sales or service. In addition, Xiaomi MIUI custom skin MIUI is also used in Poco phones. In January, Poco India was declared a special brand in our country. However, in our country, Poko still uses Xiaomi service centers, MIUI Skin.
Xiaomi seems to have declared Poko a unique brand to challenge the dominance of BBK Electronics brands in the global smartphone market. Oppo, Vivo, OnePlus, RealMe, IQ brands are all owned by BBK Electronics Group.
Poco has recently launched the Poco M3 smartphone. It has three cameras on the back. The phone will run on Octacore Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor. It is priced at $ 149 (approximately Rs. 11,000) in the global market.
