One crore rupees worth of iPhones were stolen

Two employees working at Amazon .. hoping on iPhones. They started stealing one phone a day from the warehouse for two months at a time.

With that, 78 phones were lost in two months. These are priced up to crores of rupees. Amazon has a warehouse in Gurgaon. From here many phones are shipped across the country. Due to the corona pandemic, security checks in this warehouse have been relaxed for a long time. That's exactly what happened, and two employees started stealing an iPhone a day.

Eventually the Amazon police who found out about the matter gave the compliant, investigated the case from different angles and caught the two. Police were able to successfully recover 38 phones worth Rs 50 lakh from the 78 iPhones they stole. The deal for the remaining 40 phones remains to be seen. Ansar ul Haq and Nawab Singh were arrested by the police at their homes in Gurgaon.

In fact when Amazon warehouse operations in Gurgaon were restored after the lock-down, following the rules of social distance, the mandatory checks that employees make when going home after performing duties were completely eliminated. Properly propped up, the two employees removed the iPhones from the retail boxes and began to carry them out of their pockets. After doing so two months later they resigned their job to avoid scrutiny.

Amazon found the matter on August 28, after which a police case was filed, the investigation continued, and they were arrested three days ago.
