- Did you know that Google keeps finding you?
- Google also knows all about what you are searching for
- You can only block if you do not want to track your location
Did you know that Google keeps track of you wherever you go in the world? Google also knows where you went and what you are searching for. Of course, Google does not intentionally collect these things.
In fact, Google does this to further improve its location service to provide you with accurate information on real-time traffic, photos, search, and more, depending on your location.
However, Google can block your location if you do not want it to be tracked. Below you will find the steps, tricks and tips you need to do this.
How to stop Google location tracking?
We can use two methods to block location tracking. But one method can easily block your Google location data collection with just one swipe. Hence, let us also consider two methods.
#1. Block location data in all apps on your smartphone.
In this procedure, you need to block the location data of all the apps on your smartphone. To do this, go to your Android smartphone settings, select Location and turn off the Location Access button.
#2. Turn off the GOOGLE LOCATION HISTORY
It also has to be the same as mentioned above. Here too you need to go to Android smartphone settings and select Location and go to Google Location History. Here your Google Accounts will be asked. Note that you only need this stop if you have used more than one account on your phone. Here you will see the Location History in Activity Control. Toggle the toggle button next to it or turn it off.
Of course, doing so will prevent Google from collecting your location data. However, you will miss the opportunity to receive real time traffic and more personalized Google services.
