ICICI Bank has made a key change in their mobile pay app. Customers of other banks will also be served through their iMobile Pay. So far this app is available under the name ‘Imobile’. It has been changed to I mobile Pay in line with the new changes. Through this app, customers of other banks can register their own UPI ID and make transactions with the associated bank account.
ICICI said this is the first time such an app has been launched. Customers are provided with interoperability without having to remember the UPI IDs of their contacts for a long time. This makes it easy to transfer money to payment apps and wallets.
"We are always at the forefront of making innovations and implementing them. In 2008, we introduced the first banking app in the country. With the new version now released, customers of other banks can also link their bank accounts, ”ICICI Bank said in a statement.
