Google has warned that these phones will be out of support with the operating system update after September 27th.
Non-updated Android phones will no longer be able to sign in to Google apps such as Gmail, YouTube, Play Store, Google Drive and Google Support from September 27. Google claims to do this to protect account privacy. Google also says which Android phones will stop this activity.
Google services will be out on some 10 year old Android. These include Android 2.3.7, Android 1.0, 1.1, 1.5 Cupcake, 1.6 Donut, 2.0 Eclair, 2.2 Froyo, 2.3 Gingerbread.
From October, Google services will only be available on operating systems upgraded to Android 3.0 or above.
Passwords and sign-in errors are displayed on Android outdated devices. If you have an older mobile phone, go to Settings and check which operating system is in the System Update section. You can also find out about About Phone by checking.
