A mechanic passionate about his old scooter has converted it into the current trend. He made the petrol-powered scooter run on battery. Gandhari Stalin Kumar of Jagityala Ibrahimpatnam has been running an engineering shop and repairing agricultural motors for 20 years. He succeeded in making an electric vehicle in the third attempt by installing a motor and battery equipment to an old scooter.

He said that if this electric scooter is charged for 6 hours, it will go 80 kilometers. It is said that it took six months to convert an old scooter into an electric vehicle. It has been revealed that Rs.40 thousand has been spent on this. The engine and gearbox were kept and the equipment was fixed to run on battery. 1000 watts motor, 60 watts battery, and charging point have been installed.

On this occasion, Stalin said that the motorists are facing a lot of trouble due to the massive increase in petrol prices. Stalin says that he will make more such bikes and bring them to the market in the coming days. Stalin said he tried from the desert with love on his old scooter and succeeded in the third attempt.
