Good news for railway passengers. Passengers no longer need to queue in lines for general tickets. South Central Railway has introduced a new mobile app to purchase unreserved tickets i.e. general tickets. UTS stands for Unreserved Ticketing System has made the app available.
How to book train general ticket online?
- Passengers having a smart phone should download the UTS app from the Google Play Store.
- Enter details like name, phone number, password.
- OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number. If we enter this OTP, our account will be registered in UTS app.
- Open the app and login with phone number and password.
- The categories of general tickets, season tickets and flat form tickets are available in the app.
- General ticket should be purchased in normal booking option.
- From where to where we are traveling..how many people are there..how many children and adults should be obtained.
- Tickets can be purchased through credit card, debit card, internet banking and digital payments.
- If you click on the show ticket option..all the booking details will be displayed. Download it and show this ticket to the TCs during the journey.
- If you want to travel on any day, you have to buy a general ticket on that day.
