In today's era of technology, the use of QR codes has increased significantly. We use these for every small payment.
However.. sometimes the scanner in our mobile doesn't work properly. Then it will be difficult. At such times, follow these 8 tips to make your scanner work easily.
Tips For QR Code Scanning Issues : QR codes have become common these days. They are seen in any shop. Starting from small items and even when buying big items, we are making payments using them. These help in quick and easy access to information. When these are scanned the relevant information is in front of our eyes in moments. However.. sometimes there are problems while scanning them on your phone. If you also face similar problems, follow these 8 tips and easily set up your Cure Scanner.
1. Check the QR code.
If you have trouble scanning the code, check the QR code first. Because some codes are blurred, stained and torn. There are problems with scanning something like this. At the same time check whether there is proper lighting or not.
2. Scan different codes
If the code you want to scan is clear and it doesn't scan.. try scanning other QR codes. If other codes are scanned successfully then the problem is in the first code. It may have expired. Or there may have been a difference in the code in an attempt to change its design. Or if your phone fails to recognize that code too.. then the problem is in your phone itself.
3. Clean the camera lens
If something looks blurry when we see it, we wipe the glasses and look again. Also the camera lens can be a reason for scanning failure. Dust, fingerprint marks, etc. on them hinder the ability to scan. So clean the lens using a microfiber cloth or lens cleaning solution. Be careful not to scratch them at this point.
4. Adjust the camera focus
Incorrect camera focus is also another reason why the QR code may not be scanned. So adjust the focus correctly while scanning. For this, move the phone closer and further as per the need. Or a single press on the camera will set the focus.
5. Check the camera app
Open the camera app once and see if the QR code scanner option is enabled. Even if the camera resolution is low and many apps are open on the phone, sometimes it does not scan. So close them all and try again. If that doesn't work then update the software. Smartphones manufactured during this period have scanners built into the camera. Lack of this in older models can sometimes cause problems.
6. Use Google Lens
Open the Google Lens app on your phone. If you press on the camera symbol from the top, the Google Lens app will open. If you select a QR code in the options under it, it will scan it. If you are having trouble scanning through your main camera, you can also try this way. Besides.. Google Lens app is also available in play store. It can also be downloaded and used.
7. Check the application manager once
QR code scanning apps need certain permissions to work effectively. Especially camera access is a must. So make sure you have given the necessary permissions to the app you are using. For this, open Settings on your phone and click on Apps or Application Manager. Then select the relevant app and click on Permissions. Check if any permissions are not granted.
8. Check phone storage
Some apps need enough storage to work properly. For this, the unused apps should be deleted. Moreover, the cache of apps in the phone occupies more storage. Clearing these from time to time frees up space. In this era where the use of QR codes has increased widely, it is essential to be able to scan them effectively. So if you face any problem in scanning then follow the above mentioned steps. However if the problem arises.. go to the servicing center once and get the phone checked.
