Protect your WhatsApp account
WhatsApp security settings

WhatsApp has now become an inseparable part of our lives. Whenever smartphones came into our pockets .. WhatsApp account also came along with them. Especially Indian users can not live a single moment without WhatsApp. It has become a habit to frequently check what messages are received on WhatsApp and who has what status. However, as the use of technology increases, so do the fears of hacking. Now there is a risk of losing WhatsApp accounts as well. Hackers are hacking into users' accounts and accessing them in new new ways. It mainly involves hackers pretending to be your friends or relatives and sending messages that they have lost access to their WhatsApp account. The gist of the message is that a verification code has been sent to you and if it says so, they will have access to their account again. If you tell them the verification code by mistake .. you will lose your account.

Here hackers are making another move. They will send you a message saying that they are representatives of WhatsApp company and that someone is trying to hack your account. You will be asked to share the OTP sent by SMS to keep your account secure. That's all if you share that OTP. Access to your account will go into their hands.

To keep WhatsApp account safe ..

If you want your account to be secure .. Do not tell anyone the verification code that came with it. Verification code is the code that WhatsApp initially sends for access to your account. Except that no one else sends verification codes like this. If you come up with something out of the ordinary, then they have to re-think their position.

WhatsApp's official website says that if you get a verification code on your mobile without your consent, someone must have accidentally tried to log in with your number. Or someone may have hacked your account.

WhatsApp says they don't even know who is accessing your number when you lose access to your number. However, all your messages are encrypted end-to-end, which guarantees that no one else will be able to see them. Even if you back them up to your Google account, if the account details are in the hands of a hacker, they will be able to see the old messages.

How To Recover WhatsApp If I Lost Your Account?

What WhatsApp is saying is the solution .. Once in a while go into your account settings and see if it is logged out. If you are logged out, enter your mobile number again immediately and try to log in. You will get a 6 digit verification code. Entering it will automatically log out the other person. However if the hacker sets up the 2 step verification code within this .. WhatsApp will ask you for the 7 digit code. If you do not know it, you can not log in. WhatsApp will send you a message seven days before you need to login without the need for this code. If all else fails, get ideas from others. Do not share verification codes and OTPs with anyone without your request to your phone.
