Young People Be Suffering Nomophobia
Do you spend a lot of time on smartphones every day? However, research by psychiatrists suggests that about a quarter of young people rely heavily on their smartphones for mental health problems as an addiction. Psychiatrists say that using smartphones more on a daily basis can have a greater impact on mental health. According to a recent report, teenagers are losing control of their phones as they spend more time on the phone.
According to a report published in BMC Psychiatry, 42,000 young people are being investigated as part of an investigation to find out the consequences of overuse of mobile phones.
Investigations were carried out. Of these, 23 per cent were found to have a greater impact on the mental health of young people. He said they noticed things like not being able to use the phone and losing control over time. He said that excessive use of mobile phones can lead to stress, poor mood, inability to achieve professional goals and loneliness without caring for family and relatives. Experts warn that there is also a risk of becoming selfish by ignoring anyone. Experts say that negative thoughts seem to be growing in part through the smart phone.
The report also found that he was suffering from mental depression and was attempting suicide. Dr Nicola Calc said it was not known if the source of all this was a smartphone or the apps they use. That is why health experts suggest that children and young people should be made aware of smartphone use. Co-author Samantha Sohn warns that parents need to know how much time their children spend on their phones or else it could have serious consequences on their mental health and daily functioning.
