Electric Air taxi service in India : Technology is developing rapidly day by day. In this order, Interglobe Enterprises is taking steps towards making electric airtaxi available by 2026.
Electric Air Taxi service: Electric Air Taxi is coming. InterGlobe Enterprises says that full-scale electric air taxi services will be made available across the country by 2026. InterGlobe Enterprises has announced that InterGlobe-Archer AirTaxi, in association with Archer Aviation, will initially serve Delhi's Connaught Place to Haryana's Gurugram. While it takes 60-90 minutes to travel by road between these two areas, it can be done in 7 minutes by air taxi. Four people can travel in each. InterGlobe Enterprises revealed that they will be used for air taxi services in urban areas as well as cargo, logistics, medical and emergency services. She said that she is also ready for charter services. InterGlobe Enterprises has made it clear that it intends to purchase 200 Archer airtaxis for its Indian operations.

The two companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to start and operate fully electric air taxi services in India. Interglobe Group MD Rahul Bhatia and Archer CCO Nikhil Goel signed the MoU. These services are subject to relevant regulatory approvals. India's largest airline, IndiGo, is a part of InterGlobe Enterprises. American-based Archer Aviation is a leading company in the field of electric vertical take-off and landing.
